The Leatherstocking Railway Historical Society is currently not running any trains due to the COVID-19 pandemic and we are asking for support from our community of riders and volunteers. While train operations have been curtailed, we have been working hard to catch up on as many outstanding projects as we can. A significant amount of our annual track work has already been completed before the end May. For those of you who wish to support us during this downtime, there are 3 ways you can do so.
Volunteer
Any member of the organization is encouraged to join us in maintaining the facilities at Milford, NY and along the line. We ask that all volunteers maintain safe social distancing of about 1 railroad tie while working, and wear a mask whenever this distance cannot be met.
Donate
Any member of the public wishing to support us while we are “stuck at the station” may donate via PayPal at the link below. You will have the option to donate once, or monthly, to the LRHS.
