Due to COVID-19, the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) requires, like all modes of public
transportation, that masks must be worn at all time while on board the train for the protection of fellow
passengers and crew.
After a year and a half shut-down due to the COVID-19 Pandemic, we are pleased to once again be able to
offer visitors to the Cooperstown area a chance to ride on our historic Cooperstown & Charlotte Valley
Railroad, which celebrated its 150th Anniversary in 2019.
The Cooperstown & Charlotte Valley Railroad is owned and operated by the Leatherstocking Railway
Historical Society, a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit corporation. For more information on our services, or how to
become a member/volunteer, please contact LRHS at PO Box 681, Oneonta, NY 13820, 607-432-2429, or
