Take the train up the Susquehanna river valley from Milford NY, then make your way back to town on the waters of the river itself by kayak for this new train for 2024!
Date – June 22nd at 10am
Itinerary:
Prior to departure – Canoe and Kayak rentals will confirm your reservation and waiver information
9:30am – Arrive and check in at our depot in Milford, NY (136 East Main Street)
10:00am – Train departs for upriver (Route 11c crossing)
Approx 11:00am – Train arrives at setoff point. Passengers disembark and start downriver.
Approx 2:00-3:00pm – Arrive at Route 166 Boat Launch and walk approx. 10 minutes back to our depot in Milford.

This train will include all of our usual amenities such as food, candy, soda, etc available for sale onboard.
Also available: We are making some tickets available for “landlubbers” to enjoy a scenic excursion. These tickets will not entitle you to the kayaking portion of this ride, and are a round trip excursion from our depot in Milford along the Susquehanna river.
Coach Seating (no kayak portion) 130 seats available
All participants must rent their kayak. You are not permitted to bring your own kayak.
All rentals include Life Jackets, Paddle, Safety Whistle and Basic Instruction as needed.
Some experience required, Intermediate Beginner skill level or better recommended
Must sign Canoe and Kayak Rentals and Sales waiver to participate
Age Restriction for kayakers: Solo paddlers must be 12 or older. Ages 8-16 must be accompanied by an adult in the same kayak. No one under age 8 permitted.
River trip length: 3-4 hours of paddling (8 miles)
